Ana trained as an artist studying at Cornwall College of art and design specialising in fine art, ceramics, photography and design. Since this time she has been developing her own unique style in contemporary art and is becoming known predominantly for her equine art. In both classic portraiture and her more expressive work, Ana's aim is to capture the subtleties of each horse's character, spirit and beauty whilst maintaining the anatomy correct. Ana's work involves rich background colours and shading to compliment the equine form in the foreground. Her paintings reflect the substance,refinement and power behind dressage, an art form developed over the centuries.
